Can’t find that one wrench you really need? If you’re in a bind, here are 2 easy steps on how to build your own on the fly:
- Grab one long bolt and two nuts
- Thread the nuts onto the long bolt so they are tight against the flats of the bolt you wish to remove
Voila! You have an emergency wrench.
While this is not the most efficient way to remove a bolt, it will allow you to continue working in a pinch.
