MHC Kenworth/Ford – El Paso customer Muñoz Trucking purchased its first Kenworth W990 after seeing the truck in person at a variety of industry events this fall.
“Muñoz Trucking knew it would be a great reward for drivers to offer one of the first Kenworth W990s,” MHC Regional New Truck Manager Shay DeReamer said. “When they saw the W990 stock truck at our customer appreciation event, they said they wouldn’t leave without one, and they delivered on that promise.”
Muñoz Trucking offers transloading, storage and lumber services with its fleet of 130 trucks and more than 200 box van trailers. The company has partnered with MHC for its trucking needs for several years and occasionally purchases W900Ls as driver reward trucks.
Kenworth first introduced the W990 in September, and designed it to maximize performance in line haul, pickup and delivery, regional haul and heavy haul operations. Available in a day cab, 40-inch flat top, and 52-inch and 76-inch sleeper configurations, the W990 is standard with the PACCAR Powertrain.
