Topeka, Kan., April 2, 2013 — MHC Kenworth officially opened its new truck dealership in Topeka, Kan., on April 1, 2013, after on-going construction to create a new building designed with green technology and to accommodate the needs of its customers.
The Topeka location is now conveniently located just off Interstate 70, and offers a full-service dealership at 209 MacVicar Avenue, with plans to extend hours of operation.
"It's exciting to be able to offer MHC customers a new location to meet all their needs," said Topeka Branch Manager Jacob Weeks. "In the past, customers have had to go to various locations – now they can get what they need all in one place."

In addition to the new, energy-efficient geothermal temperature control features, the 35,000-square-foot facility in Topeka maintains translucent hollow-core overhead doors in the service department to allow natural light into the building and provide superior insulation. Topeka is the fourth MHC dealership utilizing green technology, as branches in Odessa, Texas, Oklahoma City, Jonesboro, Ark., also embrace similar initiatives. MHC continues to build and renovate its locations with green technology in mind.
