MHC Saves Customers Time with Truck Repairs Using RoadPulse

RoadPulse Schedule Repairs LEAWOOD Kan., Jan. 15, 2014 — MHC Kenworth has launched RoadPulse, an online system that better serves customers by providing real-time visibility to truck repairs from scheduling to invoicing, making it easier than ever to get a truck in and out of the shop and back on the road.

“At MHC we do Whatever It Takes® to ensure that our customers’ needs are being met,” Director of Service Operations Darrin Weimer said. “Our main goal with RoadPulse is to facilitate more efficient communication processes funneled beyond a phone call, keeping customers informed about their truck repairs from start to finish at any time of day or night.”

Scheduling a repair at MHC facilities is instantaneous through RoadPulse and is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, providing online visibility to all stages of approvals. Customers can choose to receive immediate status updates of repairs, and an automated repair complete notification is sent when the job is finished.

“Since the onset of technology and computer-based communications, there’s been a need for this type of program,” Conway Truckload Supervisor of Fleet Maintenance Johnny Presley, Sr. said. “RoadPulse is easy to use and saves us the time it takes to make phone calls and set up appointments. There’s no guesswork on the dealership side for what we need done because it’s all in writing.”

The system allows users to interact with MHC based on their preferred method of communication, whether it’s a phone call, text or email. Multiple profiles can be set up, allowing drivers to be notified immediately about the status of their trucks.

“It’s proven to be a very useful tool for us, as it gives our drivers more of a buy-in on what’s going on with the truck repairs,” Danny Herman Trucking Director of Maintenance Daniel Cook said. “From day one it’s worked well, and I would recommend it to others, no matter the fleet size.”
